Rather than maximizing shareholder value, the main aim  is to generate profit to further their social and  environmental goals. This can be accomplished through a variety of ways and depends on the structure of the social enterprise. As Many social entrepreneurs have launched their ideas without profit in mind  organizational form is already set up to advance social value.. our underlying motivation is a growing awareness that the scale of the problems we are facing today can be adequately solved by the traditional non-profit and philanthropic approach
